Who we are
Ciolna Press combines the polish of traditional publishing with the charm and spontaneity of indie works. Our mission is to uplift exceptional storytellers overlooked by traditional publishing for being too new, too bold or too far removed from TikTok.
We’re open to submissions from authors worldwide.
Our values
- We’re human first. We work with real people and pay them fairly. We don’t use generative AI for covers, design elements, audiobook production or translation, and we vet our freelancers carefully to make sure the work they submit is their own creation.
- We protect our authors. We don’t license our books for AI training and are prepared to take legal action to defend our authors’ intellectual property.
- We’re global. We publish global authors and perspectives, and we especially want stories from outside the North-American/Western European bubble.
- We’re queer-led and LGBTQIA+ positive. We believe that trans rights are human rights.
