In the small town of Lionel, New Jersey, Isla Wong lives a relatively idyllic life with a beautiful house, husband, and two kids. But Isla is tired of feeling powerless. Her neighbours are super irritating. Her inconsiderate husband and his unpredictable full-time job relegate her to default parent and ultimately stay-at-home mom status. Why even work a part-time job that seems like a time suck?

And then, Isla quietly wins the lottery.

Trying desperately to maintain anonymity amidst suddenly coming into endless resources, Isla becomes something of an ethical mob boss, paying off the local police force, taking care of the neighbourhood menaces, and doing whatever it takes to restore her peace. But as Isla will soon discover, not everything can be fixed or bought, just like some things are too precious to give up, no matter how much money you have.
